Sunnybrook and many other local churches provide monthly financial support to Stillwater Community Action, and the Salvation Army for the distribution of food, clothing, temporary shelter housing, utility assistance, medicine and vehicle fuel.  Applicants for benevolence will be received and processed by Community Action and Salvation Army, who will share resources and information to coordinate local benevolence distributions.

The Sunnybrook Benevolence Ministry will continue to evaluate and assist other individuals, agencies, and organizations with "in kind" and monetary assistance in unusual and compelling circumstances, working through our "Men in Action" teams and our women's "Compassion in Action" teams.

Beginning in the summer of 2009, Sunnybrook will begin a special focus project called "Energy Makover Ministry" to assist benevolence applicants with instruction, materials and labor for the conservation of energy costs.
